Looks good specially on a black car. I did mine about 5 months ago, but I cleared them with PPG clearcoat so they are shiny as hell. I used the Nite Shades spray tint. I asked 3 cop friends of mine, they asked me to turn on the lights, step on the brakes, etc. Then they told me that they were ok. I have never been stopped for them.
Nice job dude, looks good.

Ya im not worried about getting pulled over, you can still see the lights. I think you can see them better than when i used nightshade before. But idk.
But you can't see the reflectors though and thats maninyl why your lights might get you pulled over. Best of luck and that looks mean as hell on black.

you're gonna get the shit sued out of you lol!
just because you can see them doesnt mean the 80 yr old that's gonna end up rearending you a 9pm on a backroad can. and they'll be able to sue you the second the cops see the black paint on the pieces of your lenses all over the ground and embedded in her poor old face.
throw those away and go get some stained glass paint and just put a few coats of that on there. You'll get your look, AND the lights will be brighter and the reflectors will still work.

Good luck with those. I had mine done like that. 9 coats of nightshades per lens. Got pulled over 5 times in less than 2 months. The last time I got pulled over was about 3pm on a highway with the sun behind me. Cop came within 2 ft of rear ending me cause he never saw my brake lights. Had to appear infront of a DJ with my car to prove I had removed the tint. Cost me about $400 when all was said and done between tickets and court costs.
Hell that's nothing. If you get in a serious accident with those taillights, your insurance won't cover any damages to yourself or the other vehicle leaving you with the possibility of lawsuits & thousands of $$$$ out of your pocket. That mod crosses the line between cool looks and compromised safety of yourself & others.
