Default So many different projectors, which one do I get?

I'm a little confused on which to get since there is a lot of projector lights out there. I know the more common ones that people have for retro lights are the TSX, TL's, and every now and then I'll see the E55's or E46's. But as I search through ebay, there is a lot more projectors than the 4 I just mentioned, plus cheaper than those 4. So do people here get one of those 4 because installation is easy, light output is superb, or what?

e55's and TL's are both bixenon and both great projectors. I like the e55 to work with as far as mounting purposes. The e46 is a bixenon but good luck finding a solenoid harness for them to be able to use the highbeams. TSX are good if you only want lowbeams. TL's and TSX's come with chrome bezels, the other 2 don't.

too expensive and too much work getting them to fit.

If you want high and low beams get the tl's if you want the best, or get the e55's if you want tosave some money. Its still a good projector, just not as good as the tl.

I think the tsx is over hyped. If you're going to do a retro, you might as well go with bi-xenon.

so pretty much go with TL's because they seem to be the best ones or E55's for a cheaper price. Now I ran into some Acura MDX bi-xenon projectors and they include everything to do some retro headlights. And they are $125 shipped, but see I don't know anyone here who has tried to use them and yeah I could be the guinea pig and buy them but if they don't work out well for a neon headlight than I just wasted $125. Maybe I'll just have some patience and eventually I'll run into some cheap priced TL's.

For $125 that wont include everything. Thats probably the projector only. You still need the ballasts, bulb, harness, and the materials for the shroud. Plus you will need a set of depos.

my bad man, I mixed up these 2 ebay ads, one is for the TL's which say they include everything and the acura mdx's are just the projectors which are $125 shipped, the TL's are $300 shipped.

$300 for tl projectors, ballasts, bulbs, and the selenoid wires is a steal. Thats worth like $450-$500 if everything works and in good condition.
