Default Sil'vr-Boi6's:TSX retrofit

Well-- so I finally decided to give this retro a try. After reading through Boostlee,ND4SPD,Wiggy,NJKiko,Novak's, aww sweet,Lilsparks,Ude Lose, etc.... I decided to begin my retro.

My goal was to keep the the headlight looking OEM spec as possible(well generally speaking, my entire car!). So I approached the headlights in the same manner.
I choose: the TSX projector for its compact size & for its benchmark quality in light output in the industry and simple no nonsense goal).

Type 1 shroudsfor their simple design, chrome/metallic finish that I want blending to the reflectors.)

Plexi/Lexan Glass (for strength/rigidity; since I have BC inverted Coilovers I wanted to mount to something very rigid since* my Coilovers are on firm settings all the time.)

Below are the TSX projectors:Note their compact size.(Dimensions can be retrieved from aww sweet sticky).

Type one shrouds as you can see below; they will not go over the shroud without trimming. * Not the best pic.
<a href="http://s596.photobucket.com/albums/tt50/Boi6/?action=view&current=DSCF0172.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt50/Boi6/DSCF0172.jpg" border="0" alt="type1_oncomputer"></a>

Here side profile of the projector mounted the shroud and housing:

-I'll post picture later on how I mounted the plexi-glass to projectors(sandwich style), and where I shaved the projectors to attain adjustability.

-And clearance trouble that I experienced and solved. NOTE: projectors above are not even close the lense at all> hint rear clearance problems.

I like the stock chrome look, if I ever did retro's that's how I would do it. Keep them as OEM looking as possible. I don't like all the blacked out ones..

One issue you might have is the light hitting the turn signal shroud. Its not going to really hurt your light output, but it could cause some light to scatter. Mine hits it a little bit, but it reflects on the sides of the car on the road, so it makes the beams look alot wider. I would fire it up to how it looks and make sure you're ok with it.
