side markers

I just want to know how to install the side marker housings before i go and do it tomorrow. I tried to pop them out from the out side but i dont think that how its done. Aslo i put those front running/turn signal lights on, the titanium covered ones, they llok good, but then again their not bright enough at all.

there's a tab on the back side of it you have to slide off

can you just take off, or get through the whell well panel, to get to the clip on the light houseing, or do i have to reach from underneath to get it.
