Default Rockblocker; After 5 months on the car... :(

Usually when I wash my car I'm in such a hurry, I wash it and dry it w/o giving the car a thorough examination. Today after washing it, I did. I noticed that my Rockblocker foglight covers (in blue) have become very cloudy and dull looking.

I've had them on the car for just about 5 months now and am just wondering if anyone else has had this problem? I use my foglights just about every day and am thinking that the heat on the Rockblockers from the foglights is too much and that is what has made them cloudy. Anyone else having this problem?

How often do you wax your car? The reason I ask is because when I spoke with Chad at Rockblocker he told me to rub apply a little wax to my fogs and tails, mine are still perfect. My car was the Yellow SRT-4 in the original post about Rockblocker products, so I have had mine for quite some time. I would say apply a little wax and see if that helps any.

I would wax them too. If you use abrasive products on them to say remove bugs and stuff you will scratch the clear coat on the film and cause them to dull.

I have had my rockblocker fog light covers on for about a week or so now. They bubbled like crazy!!! I installed them properly...even took pics when i did it. I constantly used my fog lights and now they have bubbled due to heat. I am going to take them off!

im afraid to even put the RB fog/headlight kit on my car with VHO HID's and my HID fogs i think they would last all of about .309534534 miliseconds

Why would you think that. HIDS burn cooler than Halogen bulbs so there should be no problem unless you did something crazy to them.

I have had 6000K HIDS and 5400K HIDS on two cars once for 2 years and the other for 6 months and no issues.
