Default reverse lights not working

so i chaned the bulbs still did not light up sp i brought it to a shop then they changed the fuse. It worked! i brought it home now they are off again. So What the hell is blowing the fuse? The back of my trunk did take on some water cause i had a gallon of water that busted in the trunk so does that have anything to do with it? how long would it take to fix a short or a busted fuse?

They would have to find the short. That can take awhile. Make sure its plugged in all the way. Check the cable that runs by the tranny under the hood. Did you just put in a clutch?

man there should be a clip that plugs into your tranny somewhere called a backup light switch (or something along those lines) i had a vw gti before the srt and was running into this problem all the time. Bought a new switch, screwed it in and no more issues....give it a try
