so lets say last night i got board and sprayed the krylon shit on my stock raido lcd and now its red but quite dim and my little bulbs in the raido are dim as well how do i fix this lol hhahaha lmfao
Spare units are arriving, but I've got a small line already. I'll post once I've caught up.
I think I'm going to go a different route with the head unit. The Krylon just isn't permanent enough. I'll let you guys know and update the how-to when I've tried it out.
I would be more than likely sending mine in now that I think about it. I wouldn't want my mileage to be all messed up. I will PM you when I have a chance for the car to be down for a bit. Sound good? I will be sometime this winter.
No worries about mileage. I send you a cluster with no PC board. You snap your board in and ship back your stock, boardless cluster and you're good to go mileage stays intact!
None at all. It's actually a lot easier for both of us to do it this way. You won't ever be without a cluster, and I don't have to worry about potentially damaging your parts. Win win.
Update on first page. Boost gauge LED now available with the kit if you'd like.
Also, I'm having a hard time getting two of the 3 clusters that I ordered One is here and ready to go, but I'm hoping to have more on hand soon.

I would probably pick up either some blue tint film (like for tail lights and what not) or some blue stained glass/candy coat paint and add that underneath the little blue condoms on the bulbs. It's tough because the little incandescent bulbs produce a yellowish light, which tends to make the light green when blue is applied. The red isn't as affected, being that yellow and red are both warm colors. You could probably solder in some LEDs, but that would be a pretty serious undertaking
