I installed my red LEDs (matrix) and they are not bright at all. In some spots theres no light... did i install them wrong, is there a certain way the bulb should facing or something? I got the brightest red bulbs too...
I have also heard that the reds don't look very bright, but remember, LEDs are polarity sensitive. Just to be sure, double check that the bulb is inserted correctly. Most 194 LEDs will have one conductor marked red or such that you know it's the positive lead. Make sure you match that one up with the part of the green circuit board on your gauge panel that has the skinny trace. If you look at the bulb socket, you'll see where it makes contact on the green board after you twist it in. One of the traces on the board is skinny, this is the positive, and the other takes up most of the rest of the space around the bulb socket, this is the ground. Sorry, wish I had a close up pic to draw some arrows on, but I think you'll get it. My blues are not very bright, but just because I got cheap bulbs, I'm gonna post a pic in a couple of minutes.
Oh ok, yeah i didnt know if there was a postive or what... damn now i gota take everything out again . Also, i got a bulb for my boost gauge, but i couldnt get the boost gauge bulb off the thing its on, like i tried twisting the bulb and it still wouldnt come off. Is there any trick way to get that bulb off without breaking it?

I had a hard time getting my fat ass fingers in there, too. I used a pair of needle nose pliers to grab onto the socket and turn it out. Makes it a hell of a lot easier putting it back in, too. Good luck.
