Default really don't wanna retro but REALLY don't wanna look like a ricecake...

Do I have any solid, cheap optioins for relatively good HID's? I'm looking for something that rests between 5000k and 6. Nothing ricey just lots of light and an OKAY cutoff. Anybody got any suggestions?

In my opinion , there are no good after market headlights currently available for the neon that perform better than the suck-ass stock ones . To get better performance a retro is really your only option .
No doubt others will post up and tell you otherwise , but from what I have seen with my own eyes , retro is required for a higher quality output .

Shoot, I was afraid that'd be the consensus. Those retros just get so darn expensive, and I'm concerned with look over brand to be honest. I hope somebody has a differing opinion. Thanks for the input though!

If your gonna do it you might as well do it right and get the retro everything else is sub par and mediocre.

Nooooooo I wanna pay like a 5th of that ): I dunno if having different color lights is worth that trouble - I gotta save that for my clutch. Oh well...
What's a shroud anyway?

It's not just different colored lights. This is a projector retrofit not an hid swap. It's a much cleaner, crispier and even output of light vs. Throwing hids in the stock housing.

No, I understand that, I just need to give it some thought. If it was like a GTI or a B5 A4 then maybe I would look into it - but I feel like crisp, factory-quality HID's would just look a little goofy on my SRT.

I don't see the logic in that but to each his own I guess.

These are my morimoto mini projectors. I believe these are the d2s' everything was under 300$ including a spare set of headlights

these are old pictures from when i was piecing the car together. Anyways a retro is your only real option for performance. You get what you pay for. I did these myself and it was a chore but definitely worth it.

Anyone else getting tired of SRT-4 owners cutting corners when it comes to properly modding our cars?

Then it looks like your staying with stock headlights. Gotta pay to play.

I know of some positive reviews from the depo projector lights from modern and some dont look too ricey.

Wow man good job. Did you use the stock lights or did u get depos. Also what did you seal them with? And how did u get the color of your dash lights white did u peal the film off? I like that better then the blur I got. It looks much cleaner your way.

Wow those headlights do look great. Regrettably, I don't have the funds available to drop 300 bucks right now. But I see what you're saying, I'd rather pay more and do it right.

I'll probably just end up going with some Modern casings and call it a day.
