radio lights need help

I tried changing my radio lights to blue last night and they came out half green and half white and i put blue cellophane over my radio display and all it did was make it harder to see and still green does anyone know what i did wrong? Thanks

UPDATE : I tried to redo my lights tonight and instead of cellophane I used a blue sharpie, and that worked perfectly. My radio lights however are all different colors, some are green some are very light blue, and others are redish. I used sharpie and that didnt work so I put 5 coats of stained glass paint and let it dry and they still arent blue, idk what else to do

I'd try and strip everything back off those bulbs and start from scratch. I don't know what else to tell ya' honestly.

The cellophane makes it harder to see, you didn't do anything wrong there. It's just knida the nature of the beast (modding).
