Default question for hak

hak i know your anti the ebay projectors, and i understand that you are a wizard when it comes to lighting, thats why im coming to you for an answer. say i do purchase the ebay projector headlights, can i then buy projectors from say a 350z and substitute them into the headlights? would there be fitment issues? i really want to upgrade my headlights but cant afford and cant make my own retros, so this seems to be the only way. unless of course, you want to make a friendly donation of a set of retros
haha thanks in advance

Yes you can swap them out. What kinds of projectors will fit in there? I haven't the slightest clue as I have never had a set of the ebay projectors nor have I seen a pair opened yet.

But to answer your question in short, you'll need to narrow down your projector choice to something that has the same diameter lens as the current ebay projector. That way the plastic housing will not have to be trimmed or anything to make room for the HID projector. You can probably fit a E46 in there no problems and would probably be the easiest one to swap based off its small size and easy mounting holes.
