Default Question about hid (misterjung 7k) in factory housing

In the first two pics notice the discoloration at the top near the support...is my housing getting F*cked? Or did I just not notice it before?

The last two are just to show the light when on...they seem to be fine.

Any thoughts?

That's wierd man. It can't be the bulbs because they don't put out nearly as much heat as a halogen bulb.

i think its normal...i have some cheapo Eurlite bulbs (which have a slight purple tint to the bulb) which give out a nice white beam but nothing like HID's. WHen looking at the headlamp housing there was a sport that reflects the bulbs strangely and makes it look like the bulb is a different color.

Might be your bulbs were tinted blue on the hid kit... to get the blue color. So that might be burning off and fumes hit right there, dying the glass reflector.

pull the bulb out and look again. It might just be a reflection off the bulb.
