Ok so I just ordered and received my 6K HID kit for my skittle that I ordered off of ebay. The question I have is what I do with the two little wires that are coming out of the OEM plug. Are they functioning as grounding wires and if so then why are there 2 or are they functioning as wires that have to be spliced into something else? HOLLA!!

I Understand how it all goes together and it certainly is pretty easy. Basically there are three wires coming off of the OEM plug on the harness provided with the HID kit. There is one that plugs into the ballast and then there are two small wires (black and blue) that are about 8 inches long. They dont plug into anything but I am sure they are there for some reason. Someone help me I really wanna get these things up and running!!

have you tried to hook up the entire kit minus those 2 wires? if i remember correctly you dont have to use those 2 wires ... but you might as well hook everything else up & give it a shot
you only really need one of the wires from the facroty harness, to let the relay know when to turn the lights on, i think its the right wire on the connector, if i remember correctly it goes high beam/ground/lowbeam . you do have a relay harness correct??
Well I put the HID kit in and the install was a hell of a lot easier than I had anticipated!! Thatnks for all the input from everyone!! I am also very glad I purchased the harness from element!! It was a very nice peice and the great thing was that it plugged right into the ballast that I had without the need to splice in ballast specific plugs or anything. I got the 6K kit and I couldnt be happier!! I would like to see what the 4300K kit looks like but none-the-less I am still happy. It has a nice blue tint to it just like I was lookin for. Hopefully I can get some pictures up for all to see. Again thanks to all and once again this site has proven to be an invaluable tool!! HOLLA!!
