Default which projectors to buy

Which projectors would you guys recommend without paying outrageous amounts of money. Also can you put eyelids on these without covering up the top light(actually not sure which light it is, parking maybe?). Im looking at moderns but have heard bad things, any suggestions?

The halos some have been crap but the new black projecotors are alright without the halos. THey are so overdone anyways just like the black led tails. If you can find some retros for a reasonable price or know someone that can do them I would do that.

I've got some G35 projectors I just put up for sale in the BST.

Here is an older picture I took when doing a comparison of the stock G35 lens compared to the clear lens. This pic just shows the stock lens.

This projector has lots of potenial when modded with a clean lens! Stock output is actually fine but when modded it really shines. I used a purple tinted Valeo lens w/ the cardboard spacers and achieved these results....
