Projector Pics...I hacked them Shiits...

So i got these from modern.

Install was easy.
Aiming was easy for the driver side. ( got to it from under the car) the passanger side took like an hr.

The BEAM is REALLY REALLY REALLLYYYY Bad.. Like driving around with only fog light pattern. I hate them. To make shit worse my driver side focus spot is wayyyyyy lower them the passanger side even though the cutoffs are level.

Time for a retro.

if you could make some kinda shroud to cover the led things up top it would look tons better.

yea the LED's have to go, they scream "rice" just like those Halo's on those eBay fog lamps. just having projectors is so classy and sleek, makes me wanna retrofit my old chrome housing headlights i have sitting in my garage, but the lenses are both cracked thats why i had to replace them

how hard were they to open? I wanted to get a set and just paint the inside.

I might just try and buy a retro set. But I only have a bout a 300 headlight budget. Not really willing to higher then that.

If I were you guys, I would just buy a set of depo headlights and retrofit them. Theres no point to retrofit these headlights.

It all depends though. Even though I hate the look of these headlights , this does give people a easier way to retro their headlights without having to worry with a shroud and all that. Most of the hard work is already done.

Just as I figured on those, they are pretty simple and would be easy to retrofit. Plenty of single xenons can fit in there Milkit. See the university section on hidplanet to cross-reference dimensions for other projectors.

Please post here if you find out what type fits these things with out too much hacking.. And cant you just pull out the LED's on the side and use some kind of cover to "delete the LED holes" ( any body think about a dual projector setup ( I was just looking at the pics)
