Default Problems with my headlights..need help

So yesterday i was driving and i flick my headlights on and i have nothing? then i flash my brights and my lights work.. so i come home open the hood and taka look.. My foglights dont work or my low beams? but my Brights or high beams do work.. No i am an electrician and i looked at every fuse and every ground and tested to see the conduancy of all the plugs that insert into the headlight giving them power and everything works i even replaced my bulbs and i have NO CLUE whayt could be the problem i was guna drop it off to the shop but i wana see if anyone had this problem before and knows how to fix it b4 i drop money k thnxx

I'm assuming that you just have the regular stock lights?

if the fuses are fine then its the multifunction switch. you running lights come on correct?

Mfs or the plug on the back of the steering column. This question comes up all the time and it gets answered all the time. A quick search through the lighting section will show that.
