I have eleven on each side, and never would have thought to mount them that way. Didn't look like they would clear to me so I drilled. Anxious to see the finished product.

Here is where I am at now, the tursignal area is all sealed up with black automative grade silicone sealant and adhesive. I had to relocate the socket for the wires do to clearence between the mounting bolt.

Ok I just finished sodering my wires and added three more LED's to each side. The end is in sight.

I've actually been stocking up on those lenses to do the same thing but you beat me to it. Pretty interesting stuff so far, nice work

this is exactly what i want to do for my headlights. I was looking it up, and then I found your thread. this is crazy. How much do you have in materials? the headlights are only like 120, but how much for the projectors, and how hard is it to make the adjusters work?

The projector were a steal for me, $140 for TL's, just look on ebay. The material I've lost track of, and I don't feel like counting it up at the moment. To get the adjusters to work I followed what the majority of the rest of the members retroing did, I made a shield that mount to the reflector so it uses the stock adjuster.
