Here is where I am now

Mounting shield and reflector

Now with the projector sitting inside

I still have some triming to do on the reflector but I should be moving onto fitting the shroud in.

So I cut and fitted the shrouds to my projectors only to realize I have to do more cutting on the plate and reflector because they stick out too far. DOH!

Here you can see that it would hit the lens on the housing. Without these big ass shrouds it would fit, back to cutting.

Ya I had to do a little trimming earlier, but fits good now. The onlything keeping it out are the bolts which I will trim up in a bit. I may do a little more trimming of the shroud, I havent decided yet.

I would like you guy's input on this, here are some pictures of the shroud fitted on the projector. Do you think I should trim the 4 inside prongs more and push it back futher?

If i do I will loose the bottom extrution that is covering part of the wires.

Ya I trimed it down a little bit more today. Oddly enough when you get to where I have them now, even these arn't big enough to cover the TL's. The square part of the projector is just starting to poke through the side.

I'm also thinking of painting the lens holder black to make it less noticable.

Ya hopefully I will be done with the other side by tommarrow or tuesday. Is the an easy way to get the lens holder off, I just don't want to break it.

I just masked. Seemed like too much headache on E55's to take them apart.

Needle nose pliers will get them off. If one side breaks it will still hold the lens in fine so dont worry about it.
