Default philips hid kit

So psyched. I just bought a philips 4300K kit, 9007. All phillips components.
Picked it up for $449 shipped. Check out www.autodirectsave.com. He might have one more kit available.

Nope. I haven't heard of them. Be careful with generic bulbs. Alot of companies sell quality hella ballasts and sell junk bulbs. The next thing you know a few months later your bulbs are flickering or are a different color, or even worse blown out. You can't go wrong with Osram or phillips bulbs.

I agree, post some pics when you get them in.

Yeah get some pics, I have the 7,000K kit ordered from misterjung (yeah yeah I know) and I'm getting tired of waiting and want a kit NOW. Plus I'm starting to get concerned about the quality of the bulbs. I want a kit but I would like a very slight tint to them to show them off. I'm just not sure if the 4,300K would do that for me since they are in the white spectrum.

Good find man. Let us know how the service is from this place and take some pics of the car when you get the lights on.

I dont think the 4,300k kit would work for you. It is white with no blue tint. My phillips 6000k kit in my fogs (see sig pic), have a very slight blue tinge to them. You'll love the misterjung 7,000k color, I do. Just hope they last a long time. Mine are still working..

yeah, question... does your 7,000K have more of a purple tint or blue tint. It might be very close but if you were to see it from a distance what color tint is closer to, blue or purple?

Do your misterjung's flicker or anything? I'm really starting to get pissed b/c I haven't gotten my kit that i ordered over a month ago. I just e-mailed him again to see where my order is... he most likely won't response though b/c he never does.

Its hard to describe the color, it's mostly white with a nice kinda purple tint to it.. Kinda blue and purple mix.. My misterjung kit flickers on start-up for about a minute, only when its cold outside, say 50 and below. Not all his kits do that though, so yours might be fine. Pics dont show the exact color very well. This pic is pretty close.. Notice the slight color difference between the 7000k mj kit(heads) and the 6000k phillips kit (fogs).

Awesome, I can understand when it's cold out just as long as it doesn't do it while I'm driving and they've been on for more than 10min.

Yeah I think i've seen that pic before on another one of your posts. I really like that color. Not to purple to look overdone and not to white to not look like expensive HIDs. I absolutely don't want blue b/c well... that ugly blue color is often mistaken as well... you know. Thanks again man, oh how long did it take you to get your kit from misterjung?

If only I was that lucky to get them in 2 weeks. I just can't wait until I pull into the driveway and see a nice package sitting on my porch from him. Once they get here my underbody lights come off to make room for the ballasts and I'll have them installed within an hour. I can't wait for them to get here if they get here.

Thanks for the info

Whoo hoo, I should be getting it around Wednesday or Thursday since I got overnight shipping with it.
