Default people with clear 3rd brake light

what bulb do you guys use? Is there a LED or chrome bulb that works good? I just put a regular red bulb in and I hate the pink brake light. I've searched and couldnt really find anything. I saw that a couple people coated the bulb with night shades, but i was still hoping theres a way to make it look completely clear when its not lit up. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I saw a mod somewhere that someone modified the hole and the plug to accept an 1157
bulb...then just got a red one, or did the staind glass paint... great mod. Thinking about
this one myself. Nice bright light... very red.

Ive been using Xenon for a long time. Just make sure that your lights match the same texture of color.

i have a red led bulb, i think its a 914, cant remember, i actually modified it. Normally the red led 914 bulbs come with a transparent red base, so along with the red 914 i bought a white led 914 also, and switched the bases, so when its not on its all clear, and it lights up red.

I used the LED board from the taillight of my 02 R1. I replaced it with a custom one with dancing LEDs and turnsignals built in, so I had the original LED board just laying around. I have a different idea brewing, so I'm gonna order another clear brake light and try it out. If it works out, I'll post up.
