Default painting fog lights problem

I posted up this same comment on that thread but no one answered so thats why i made my own.I painted them exactly how the page indicates u tell me to do it but for some reason it bubbled and know i cant get it off can you tell me some pointers on either how to take it off or on how to fix that. So if anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated. thank you

I did mine the other day.. I lightly scuffed the surface with 600 grit sand paper, and then just did really thin coats for a base and just built it up from there. I was doing my new mirrors and they bubbled on me, so I sanded them back down with 400 grit (not completely removing the paint, just the bubbles) and did super thin coats again, and they turned out great.

Yeah, with stuff like that you have to lightly sand inbetween each coat, and apply light coats...More light coats are better than few heavy coats...There might be a couple places left over when you are done but that should fade with time, or at least mine did...

i have painted a few fog lights and mirrors for customers at my body shop and they have all turned out great. i havent read what everyone on here is doing but the best way i have found to do them is to scotch-brite them and prime them first. then just base coat and clear them.
