Default Painting fog light bulbs

Theres a how to so that you can paint the lense of your foglight yellow to look mAd JdM Y0. What if I were to paint the bulbs themselves, like spray painting them lightly. I did it with my blinker lights. Painted them blue and they shined (spelling) teal/blue. It was a real light coat of blue spray paint on a clear OEM bulb. Any ideas if I did that to the fog light bulbs. Would it get too hot?

EDIT: I want them blueish. Like HID blue. Does autozone sell them in blue?

I just went to my local tint shops and found some yellow tint....Cut 2 circles and installed them on the fog light lenses with a squeegee and a blow dryer...I wouldnt recommend painting the bulbs themselves. Thats asking for a fire...........As far as the blinker lights, Wal Mart or Autozone sells a blushish blinker that blinks yellow. I just cant remember the brand of the bulbs...
