Default Painted Fogs

Anyone having a problem with their bulbs burning out ALOT after painting their fogs?? Mine are pretty dark, like an amber color. Just wondering if its getting to hot now and burning up. This is my 2nd set of silverstars in 2 months...

Silverstars can be the problem. Some people have problems with them buring out all the time no matter if its a painted fog or not.

+1. The oil on your hands drastically reduces the life of the bulb. My silverstar fogs have been running for almost a year already.

Clean your fingers with rubbing alcohol first and you can handle those bulbs for hrs!!!!!

Touching the bulbs with your fingers wont make them burn out faster, it will make the actual glass itself burst from the oils left behind heating up the glass.
