Default Other Car Maker HID's on SRT-4

I know how a lot of people buy other HID's like Porsche, Maxima, Escalade, etc. and put them on SRT-4's. I know you have to do a bit of modifications, but do you think if done right it would light up good. I don't really care about brightness, I just care about visibility. Do you guys think it is worth it. Also if possible what are good websites that sell plug and play kits for SRT-4's? Thanx in advance.

Yes a retro is VERY worth it. You get more performance over looks unlike a PnP kit. I sell them. When done right, the lighting output is insane but more importantrly, safe and won't blind anyone. Check over this section or click my sig for details and there is plenty of threads here with my pics of output of various

no I know retros are great, but I mean for example just getting HID's from a Maxima or something, and putting them on the stock lights with no projectors and custom fitting the bulbs. I'm just asking if its a good idea or not, and if done right can it light up how its supposed to. I want PNP for now like I told you before I will get your retro but I can't right now so I would settle for some PNP, then later sell them and get your retros. But i'm just asking around for some info, because I'm really interested in getting some HID's for my car.

No its not a good idea. Its not going to liught up how its supposed to because the headlight is designed for halogen use, not HID. This is why retros are done. To get the light right.

pm darksyde. he sells plug and play kits. i've got the 1000k kit. it's really blue. i'd say get the 6000k kit. very white, better light quality than stock. unfortunately, the high beams are pretty useless. i'm fairly happy with the performance:dollar ratio tho. and of course, the bling bling super white headlights
