Default Ok dumb HID question...

ok ive been readin about the HID's, and I am kind of confused
first off, i dont have an srt..(yet, hoping to get one next year)
i have a little ol civic
but i have the black housing halo projector headlights that have the huge bulbs
so if i bought one of those ebay kits for like 250 or so, are those going to reflect everywhere too, even though they have the ballasts and all that?
or would i have to buy the really expensive ones?
and to fit them in my car, would i have to do any changes to the headlights? besides install the amps/ballasts?

Any of those plug and play kits are going to throw light all over the place. This is true (from what I've seen and read, both here and on HIDPlanet) also for the cheap projector headlight housings because they aren't meant to handle that type of light.

You need to retrofit OEMs into your headlights if you want real HIDS:
