oem capsules flash red on startup - SRT Forums

oem d2s capsules and an aftermarket ballast, when i turn the lights on, they flash red, then come on. the capsules are brand new, the ballasts are about a year old. is this normal, or are my ballasts about to take a crap on me?

Sometimes its normal with brand new capsules but also it could be your ballasts going out and sending an improper amount of voltage to the capsules.

You are on a harness upgrade right? I think I rmember you saying yo were but can't remember.

new harness goes on next week, as soon as i finish extending it.
