Default Newb looking to buy some HIDS

Since im cheap and on a budget i was looking at the quickwips "Single Beam HID Kits" now what does that even mean? and there are options for bulb style and color. what buld style do i want?? and whats the best "color". and how easy is the install on this kit? would it look any good? for sure it would look better then stock but i just want like a blue/purple tint to my lights. is this waht i want?

Whatever you do, don't buy any HID kit over 6000K.

The higher the kalvin, the less you see at night. Dumb people who know nothing about HIDs will say "oh, it's just a opinion" but it's not.

you see less, and oncoming cars get blinded. Human eyes cant focus properly with blue light against a black background. if you want the pretty bling you need real projectors, which dont use even 6000k color, its the cutoff that makes it appear purple and blue but as the car gets right on you it goes white. I personally dont like hid kits on single headlight systems. i dont use my high beams very often but it would suck to lose a function that was there if you had left the car alone.

4300K is oem temperature. So 5500K can't be the brightest

single beam means it won't come with a halogen bulb for highbeam.
you're right the higher the kelvin, the less bright it is. but you're gonna end up blinding people even w/ a 8000k bulb. just be prepared to get highbeamed, especially around here.

i have 8k and have had 6k, and i enjoy my 8k way better than any 6k hid bulb. and i had 6k in projectors. i personally enjoy 8k alot, and able to see a good distance. beleive me you see alot farther then what you think, for what people say about brightness.

You downgraded your lights going from 6k to 8k. Not a great idea.

Believe me. Your eyes are playing tricks on you. 8k does not put out more light than 6k nor any "kit" versus HID projectors which I highly doubt you've ever had such as you said.

Fact- the human eye react more strongly in perception to blue hues. In tanslation, your eye is making you THINK its brighter with more blue hues.
