New LED third brake light board with directionals, video.
I have been working with another supplier on these and I have some video up of them working. The release price should be around $45.00 and install is about 30 minutes. Go here to see the videos, http://www.xtremeracingandsound.com/images/3rd/ go through the 6 movies on the bottom of the page to see it in action. If I get 10 units sold I will drop the price to $39.00 shipped and 20 units $37.50 shipped, thanks guys.

Nice. What can be done to make them blink the same rate as the stock turnlight? Not a bad price.
Short answer, get LED tail light bulbs...
The taillights and the 3rd brake light are blinking at the same rate, the problem is that the stock tails contain incandescent light...They need to "power up" to get to full intensity and also "power down" or fade out...LEDs are much faster acting, it looks more like "off-on-on" without any fading...
Will anything act as a brake light? Its a great idea, but I would like it if it acted as a brake light as well. It looks like the center piece might do that, but im not sure.
The entire unit acts as a brake light, except when you hit a turn signal or hazards...
The board is split into 3 sections, a 9led diamond in the center that is brakes ONLY, then 20 led's on each side of that diamong that act as turn signals... The unit does function as a full brake light as stated above. Watch movid4.wmv to see what i mean...just dont go blind...
Also, they do blink at the same rate as the stock blinkers, they are just on and off faster than the stock blinkers because there's no filament to heat up, or gas to charge...
If you offered a model of this, sans blinkers, I would be your first customer. I need this with my LED tails. Any possibility of keeping the exact same design, just without blinkers? I might buy one either way, but really don't need or want the blinker part of it.
connecting all 3 power/ground wires to the 3rd brake light would cause that. just trim off the extra wire and splice in. now you ahve a solid brake light...
I can provide you with a wiring diagram for just about any situation if you'de like
