CCFL, Halo....you knew what I meant . The other option is fine line tape. I've never heard that Vaseline was bad for plastics, but Chapstick is what alot of people use on the lettering for their valve cover when they paint it.
? i got confusled you mean vaseline over the halo so that paint doesnt stick to it? or that paints sticks better? arg i want these to come in already but i think they are comming from freakin CHINA....
kool man i still gotta wait till the 23rd to get them in..... oh hey is there a way to "fix" hid ballasts? like i have a set of xenteks from ebay and i know somethings wrong withem cause when theyre on my car the turn on and start to brighten up like normal and right as there about to hit peak brightness which normally takes like 10 seconds they like dim out and flicker for a second and then brighten and then there fine? pm me if anyone knows cause im debating weather it is worth the time even using the ballasts for my fogs if im just gunna have to swapem out in a month or so..
sounds like there is nothing wrong with your ballasts, thats just the same some of them are during warm up, some of the oem hellas do all kinds of wierdness.
ah ya i got some ddm raptor ballasts for 50 bux and they seem to have fixed it brighten fully in like 5 sec now so much better but i might use these in the foglights. not that this has anything to do with this thread but say my foglights are wired in series and attatched to one relay will the hid ballast fry the wiring? its 16 awg wires
i will on the 20th but the manufacturer doesnt make these for 9007 size fitment so they custom made me one said it would take longer.. so i have to wait till the 20th-23rd they ship it out on the 17th so they say but may be sooner. but they should fit theyre only like an inch longer than the g1. so should be ok.
Yes, they fit just fine. I just finished a set. Not the prettiest things ever but they do fit and the light output is actually pretty damn decent! Pics are in my for sale thread if you car to search for it.
