New Black Housing and HID .... :)

I went from this:

I got my HIDs NEW from ebay.
I asked for 5000k kit, but it looks more like a 6000k or 8000k kit.

To this:

They looks alot bluer in person. Which i didn't want.

Down side:

I get static in the radio sometimes.
Lighting is so so ..
There is basically no major glare. But they are aimed a lower than stock. Which kinda kills the point of upgrading the lighting.

I'm prepping my eyelids

Hey at least you're honest. A lot better than the typical "installed my kit threads" that are light...

"DAMNNN...these bitches be bright man! Million times better than stock. I aimed them up higher since I don't have high beams!!!!one111!!"

Looks like 6k. 8k would look like a smurf and you'd know for sure. If its a crisp white/purplish hue, than its 6k.

As for the static, it seems common amongst kits but not so with OEM grade equipment. Probably has something to do with the cheaper quality internal components and the lack of better shielding. How was your harness hooked up?

well of course i read ur threads. :P
Honestly my stock lighting is better b/c it isn't scattered everywhere. lol

I have it running off a relay harness as suggested by you and it powers both ballasts. The radio thing only happens in areas where the radio signal maybe a bit weaker or when i first turn the lights on then it was go away.

Its one of those zentech kits off ebay that normally run for under 150$.

Damn i'm thinking its 8k then. But theres more white than blue when it warms up. I just emailed him asking him what he sent me.

Can i just swap bulbs? like a 6000k or 4300k ones ?

Edit...... i'm looking at 8k pics of other srts. Mine doesn't look as blue in the pictures. Theres more blue in theres more white in mine. Ahhhhhhhhhh man to much shit to worry about lol you get what you pay for.I'm just worried about cops bugging me
