Default need some advice...pics inside

looking to upgrade the fogs.
im definitely going with hids just not sure what to put them in.
what do you guys think?
open to any ideas gimme some feedback.
would halo projectors look good with hid's?

Projectors with 10,000k hid's?

Stock fogs with chrome housing and blacked out lense with 10,000k hid's?

Stock fogs with clear lense and black housing also with 10,000k hid's?

ORRRR the euro depo fogs from modern performance with hid's.

10,000K HID's = ricer blue. 8,000K should be the highest color temperature you should go, if I was doing HID fogs, I would do 6,000K or 4300K to match my OEM temp color projectors. You won't regret it, oh and just use your stock fog housings, don't black anything out...

then they're not 10000k. at the temp, the color starts to go from deep blue to purple. 8000k is the "ricer blue", and 12000 is purple. you may have a 4300-6000k kit if you output is white.

for your fogs (or lighting in general) keep in mind, the higher the temp, the worse your output will be. i would put 3000k in them.

I have 6000k as my fogs and people always tell me that my fogs look brighter than my projectors 4300k bulbs. When I flip the switch for the fogs to turn them off, my friends are like OMG, that is insane how much light output you get out of the fogs.

Uhhhh, 10,000K is a blue - deep blue (depending on the company)
People get 10,000K to immitate the look of an OEM HID bulb behind a projector, yes it looks blue, but look at the road as it projects, its white; its made to mimmick the light of daytime, not reflect deep blue lights everywhere. I used to think the same way as you, that 10,000K was the shit, when in fact your just throwing distracting light everywhere (unless your using them with projectors) and especially with fogs.

Have you thought of yellow fogs? Theres actually quite a purpose behind those, it cuts fog & rain 10x better than a normal halogen fog light bulb.

I think Im going to go with either a 3,000K or 4,300K HID fog (reflective yellow color - bright white color) to pair up with my retro-fit (TL projector w/ OEM Phillips bulbs) Should look & most importantly function amazingly!

I bought those and sent them back immediately. They are no good man. If u do decide to get them stay away from the halo option on these fogs. You dont get to pick the color, it flashes thru the sequence of colors. So so gay my friend

You could always just not hook up the fruity rainbow halo.

Or you could just eliminate the halo altogether

I have the halo ones, they don't change colors though, and the output is great. Just stay away from 10ks though....more color = less light.

^^^ The ones that change color are the halogen reflector ones with the halo, not the ones that you and I have.

Yeah, color changing lighting is not a good thing ever IMO. I definitely dig the pink on yours though.
