im sure its been covered before but im bored so im making a useless thread. dont like it? eat a dick.
the bulbs that are in my car now were in there when i bought the car, they are not stock, they are blue bulbs that dont put out shit for light. i cant see well at night anyways, never have had good night vision, it sucks. i want the best light output i can get without go retro fitted, cause im poor. i dont care about the color of the bulbs or the color of light they produce i just want to be able to see. what does everybody run for great light output?

Also I would recommend getting hid ,or some other really bright bulbs, for your foglights...
I got HID fogs, and it makes a world of difference in visibility at night.
see i keep hearing the HID's on these cars dont have good light output or something. when i had my 350Z with the factory HIDs were great, now that im back in another neon i hate driving roads i dont know at night cause i cant see

yeah i was just saying how i loved having the factory HID's in the Z but from what i have heard the aftermarket HID kits out there suck cause your putting HIDs in a headlight housing not meant for them so light splashes outward
regardless i know im not going to get the same result of a factory HID car without doing a retro fit but i do want the best results i can get. im just not sure if despite the fact the light splashes out if it would still be better to go with the HID kit or the silverstars
X2 on the Osram Silverstars. Im using them in my Modern projectors and theyre MUCH better than the 80w crap Nokya bulbs that came with them. My next step is some VVME HIDs.
$165 (projectors) + $$41 (HID kit) + $20 (relay) = $226! Not bad for better output without blinding oncoming traffic, though the output will not look as nice a car with stock HIDs.
If you want the best light output w/o going retro, you would definitely, hands down have to go with a HID kit. VVME.com sells them for great prices, and if you don't want to look like a ricer, then get the 6000K or 8000K at most, and you will have amazing light quality.
If you want a clearer road, get either the 4300K or 6000K, those temperatures are normally a bright white, with pretty much no blue in it. If you go with the 8000K they are a little duller than the 4300K or the 6000K, but they look real nice, and perform good as well. All I have ever bought for my headlights have been 8000K, but Im in the process of a retro right now, and I think Im going to order the 5000K's from retrofitsource.com, Im going to order OEM bulbs though, I think theyre made by Phillips.

ii think i am going to go HID and go with the 4300k, if im not mistaken thats what most cars come with from the factory and i want it to look OEM
