Default Need help undoing what has been done.

I need to know exactly which wire goes to wich connection on the back of the headlight MFS. Every wire. Long story short, the wire harness melted and my headlights would not work and I needed to drive my car so I tried to rewire the connections on my own but I think I may have crossed some wires some where. My parking lights only come on when my headlihts are on my fog lights don't work, my dimmer for the gauges don't work my dome light can not be turned on, If I turn the high beams on all of my lights go out.I can not find this info anywhere. I need to find a wireing diagramor something. If someone has a digital camera and they can take a picture of the wires and post or pm me with it that would help me figure this out. If some one takes a pic please label the photo how it was taken so I do not wire it backwards.

ok I followed the diagram exactly and I am still haveing problems. When my headlights are on my turnsignals do not work my dimmer switch still dose not work. does anyone know where I can just find a replacement section of the wire harness that I could just put in place so I wont have to worry about this thing anymore.

try a junk yard or look for someone parting a car out, there are a few here. search parting out, think that sexysrtchic has one. you may have a bad switch or may be if the connector is melted bad wires could be coming in contact with each other. That diagram is strait from DCX

I have most of the connectors on my spare harness. When I get back home saturday I'll look and see if I have one. If it's the actual switch, I have one of those too but you knew that from your post on the indy site.

Default update

I took the MFS out and considering the conectors where shot I sodered new peices of wire to each pin. Then I put male end connectors on each wire. I also put shrink wrap on all the end to prevent and connections from touching. I the put all new wires on the wire harness side, then put female connectors on them. I then labeled each wire so I would know wich one went. I connected all of them but my parking/ tail lights still did not come on. So I taped into the 12g VT/WT wire and connected that to the BLK/YL wire. So now When my head lights are on so are my parking/tail lights. BUT when I click my brights on everything else goes out. But now my turn signals work correctly and my fog lights work.
