Default need help on taking off eyelids...

i was able to take off the eyelids last night but the thing is a lot of residue due to the stikiness of the eyelids was left....how can i take that stickiness off of my light...

Probably. I think Meguires makes a plastic polish....check an auto parts store that carries their stuff; I'm certain I've seen it.

piece of cake. i've done it twice on two cars. Peel off slowly, rub Ronsinin on a cloth and ur done.

If it were my car I'd hit it with wax and grease remover....but I wouldn't be as concerned about toasting a light, so I wouldn't advise anyone else to do it.

I would not try goo-gone. I would use acrysol (automotive grade, not the thickner) instead. I've used it on painted surfaces, plastics, metal, etc etc etc. Never once had an issue arise in over 4 years using it.

You can also use Meguirs tec wax. it takes a few passes with wax but it will remove residue from adhesives.

Soap that you use to wash dishes!!! It actually works....i just finished trying goo-gone but was taking it off little by little, couldnt really tell.....tried degreaser and wd40 and non worked.....but then i tried soap....and woaaaaa....u didnt even have to scrub hard or anything....came right off.....

LOLLLLL!!!! That's awesome! Delete your post, bottle it...and sell small containers of it online.
