Default need help with fuse blowing

this sucks! my fuse for my illumination keeps blowing and i cant seem to find whats doing it checked inside the steering colum, nothing looked melted and the last owner of the car did a foglight mod nd switched the wires from the corner lights to the fog lights nd never plugged in the corner lights looked under the car and one of the wires were off from the passengers corner light a.k.a. the old fog light wires. would this be the problem hooked em back up but need to go buy fuses today nd see if it worked. if anyone knows anything bout the electrics of these cars in ct it would be of great help nd i could pay you if you come and diagnose the problem.
