AGP 50 trim..... Yeah its sexy.
Grrr- 50 trim is on hold....Rebuilt motor done.
JE pistons 8.5:1, crower springs & retainers, eagle rods, ARP studs...But not entirely done ha
when i did mine i mounted one right to the right of the washer fluid bottle on the frame (so u couldnt see it with the lights back on the car) and i mounted the other one in the same spot on the other side
My drive side is mounted underneath the "shelf/sheetmetal" the driverside headlight sits above. Pasenger side is down by the water bottle. Be sure your connections are waterproofed or you'll develop corrosion down there. Trust me
Worst thing ever just happened though passenger side headlight.
The two bolts used to secure the light a black bolt...(longer) and a grey one...i snapped the head off the grey bolt....now i cant take out that housing, some im trying to work around it.
Just undo your bumper bolt up top. Then pull back your bumer right where the turn signal area is. you'll be able to gain access to the bolt itself. Use some pliers and work it out.
i tried....Didnt work to well, but the lights are in and work great. I do hear a slight humming noise for about 2 seconds when they are first ignited...any ideas?
Hey hak...im on a dual relay upgraded harness I made. I still get a load of radio interference when I first turn on my lights, always have. Now my passenger light went out....I think my ballast finally shit itself on that side. You don't happen to have any ballasts laying around you're lookin to unload do ya?

Nah, I don't stock anymore HID stuff. You can buy some on HIDPlanet but they have a oem connector and alot of kits don't have that type of connector. The only time I've heard of people have intereference is with using a kit. I'm not sure if its just the quality of the electrical components/ballasts versus oem grade ballasts but there seems to be a link only with kits.
How do you have your grounds hooked up and how long are they?

yeah I saw the ones on HID planet, I'll probably end up getting a set of those if it does turn out to be that mine is dead. I'll be looking into it this weekend. I have an e55 maxima retro that I made, but Im still using my ballasts from my kit. I'm sure thats the problem. The shielding on them is probably sh*t. how much waterproofing is needed on the bosch ballasts that HIDPlanet sells? oh and each of my ballasts has a dedicated ground that go straight to the negative terminal on the battery.
Your grounds need to go to the chassis, not the neg. battery terminal. Grounds don't need to be any longer than they need to. Try and stay less than 12".

x2. looks clean that way. that and there isnt much room in the engine bay anyway.
