Please say the lights don't do anything weird like turn off completely or something. I don't know if that's possible, but all I know about automotive wiring is that strange problems can have even weirder causes.

Well, I just tested this and it works just like stock. Fogs on with low beam, when switched to high beam the fogs go off. They did their homework on this one.
And it's STILL RAINING over here!

Ok, some "Day 1" observations. Now, since it's currently all stormy over here and right now we have a break in the clouds I have noticed CONDENSATION on the driver's side main low beam. Morette needs to look at that and make sure that everything seals OK. The little park light in that bulb housing may be the cause of the condensation.
Also, looking at both lights I see the little park light is on the same side inside both low beam housings. Would be nice to get a headlight for the driver's side that has the park light on the outside edge of the light like the passenger side. But that's all cosmetics, I guess. I plan on replacing the stock ones with LEDs anyway.
Also, the park lights come on at the same time as the low beam. Since they are wired to the parking lights themselves (the side markers), I guess that will always be, but if Morette could figure out a way to have the park lights turn OFF when the main low beams are on, that would be a bonus. Otherwise it looks weird. Right now I'm off-site at work and have no access to my digital camera. I'll take some pics and post them here so you people can see what I'm talking about.

No pics?

Pictures in bad weather would have been VERY nice, concidering that is one of the downfalls of the stock units.

Good observation, condensation is a killer. That is also why I would not want Morette's to put a cover over these lights. It will shorten the life of the unit even the stockers are not completely sealed, hell my stockers do it now when the temperature outside is at a certain level.

More notes from Day 1:

Those silly park lights! Here's the deal with them. They are on the same wiring as the side-panel marker lights. So when you turn on the park lights ONLY, they light up. Cool. Will look bitchin' with LEDs.
Problem is, since they are wired to the side markers, when the headlights come on, they STAY ON. Now over here in Europe, the headlight switches in the cars are different with an extra position that just turns on those special park lights.
What would be IDEAL is if some sort of logical gate is placed on the wiring so that when you turn the normal side markers on, the park lights come on also, but when you go to normal low or high (full) beam, the lights turn OFF. Still at work, but I'll post pics later.

Once I get the low beams properly adjusted, next time it rains I'll take pics from inside the car so you guys can see it. But with the low beams aimed so far down now, it SUCKS.
Screw it. Right now there's a break between storms with some sunlight. I'm going to try to adjust these things now.

Nope. And I specifically asked Morette not to tell me.

Also, the orange blinkers on the front do NOT light up unless you are using the turn signals. Whereas our stock lights come on when the parking lights are on, these are not like that. Morette, can you change the wiring so that they use a two-filament bulb and are lit when the parking lights are on and blink when the turn signals are used? That would put it closer to operating like stock.

Default Daylight pics with lights on

In these pics you can see how the lights work, the park lights, and the condensation. Condensation only in the driver's side light, not in the passenger side light. The Pass. side is perfect. So I guess it's a fluke with a bad low beam housing.
The Park light! (with optional condensation )

Condensation! NOOOOOOOO!

Low beams (still unadjusted)

High beams

No more pics until I can get some good night shots. Tons of night shots to shut you all up asking for them!
Weather is still shit over here.
