Morette announces the E-Code Twin Headlight Conversion launch for the Neon / SRT4.
Morette is pleased to announce the European and Canadian launch of the E-Code Twin Headlight Conversion for the Neon / SRT4.
The new conversion headlights will be available for shipment the week of December 12th. Suggested retail is $500.00US, plus shipping.
Why are we launching in Canada and Europe first?
We have E-Code optics ready to go, and it makes sense to start shipping the lights to the parts of the world that accept E-code optics.
What is E-Code?
E-Code is the European standard for automotive lighting. It is similar to certification to DOT in the United States.
Does the United States accept European E-Code?
No. The United States has it’s own standard set out in FVMSS 108. All lights sold in the United States must have the DOT stamp to be in compliance with US regulations.
When will the lights be ready for the United States market?
Just as soon as we can make them available. As promised before we expect to launch late 4th quarter 05 or early 1st quarter 06.
We would like to thank all that have been a part of this new product launch. From the first test fit in Chicago, to IBall in Germany, and the Neon show guys in California. All of you have been very helpful. When you see a Neon / SRT4 owner sporting the Morette Twin Headlight Conversion, you will smile knowing that you help bring the lights to market.
Just as soon as we are ready to launch in the United States we will let you know. Information on retailers will be announced shortly.
Yup, just as I thought...$500. GL with that just for halogen cibies in a formed plastic housing.
A little birdie told me that everyone might be seeing something come publicly available to you guys thru a certain vendor that will be much more worth your money. Hint, projectors and in HID.
