Default More innexpensive Driving Lights than PIAA?

Does anybody know of a set of driving lights (including appropriate brackets!!) for our car, much like the set here? But cheaper than $225!??

OR! Does anybody know what ones will specifically fit the brackets from mondernperformance.com? (ie - what ones will have the same mounting pattern as the PIAA)?

I just can't afford $225 for halogen driving lights!! I had a set of BlazerTech 4" ones on my Grand Prix and they were AWESOME! And they were only like $50!

I would appreciate any help! Modernperofmance guys --> ever thought of carrying a more cost-effective version of the PIAA lights?
Thanks!

either get new bulbs, go to autozone and get sum cheapo driving lights. Those lights are that expensive cuz A. they are PIAAs and B. they have cuztom brackets made for our cars. You wont find brackets like that with any other light

Ok, I'll word it more generically... is there ANYBODY using a set of driving lights other than PIAA? BlazerTech?

Any 4" light will work (<55W), but I'm looking for bracket/mounting help

I have a set of HIDs for my every day driving (EDIT) headlights and they're great for the city... but they suck on the back highways. They don't give you a lot of distance, so I'm looking for something long and narrow (driving light).

Come on guys, there has to be some hole-in-the-wall website somewhere that has a set of ~50W driving lights (hopefully with brackets).

Anybody? Should I post this in another area? Vendors? General Discussion? Any help finding this stuff would be much appreciated.

Stay stock or save money and buy quality parts.

noTe: Normally I would totally agree with you. I always pay a little extra for the peace of mind of quality parts (when reliability is an issue)

But to me, 1) upgrading my lights isn't worth $225. That's a lot of dough and 2) I know I can get a "good enough" quality product that will suit my needs for $50 because I had them before (BlazerTech's on my Grand Prix).

But my delima is that I won't have a set of brackets for them... And I don't trust my own craftsmanship to fab up my own

Thanks for all your help guys, it doesn't seem like there's much of an option for me here... Do the PIAA's use a generic mounting style? Or is it proprietary? ie - can I find a generic light to fit those brackets?

Thanks!
