Default modern performance projector adjustment??

i just picked up a set of the modern image projectors, anyone know how to adjust the beam up and down? the pass side beam aims like 6" higher then the drivers side and i can only seem to adjust it left to right not up and down? the projector has 2 screws under the bulb you can turn with your fingers, high beam has 3 screws 2 above the lamp and one below that have to be adjusted with a flat head. the instructions they give you are a photo copied piece of paper in half japanese and only shows wiring install not aiming adjustments

i dont have any nite pics, sucky thing is the whole lamp needs to come out to adjust the beam and i had to use my stock rubber seal to to get a good fit with no gaps, other then that they seem pretty good .

i got it

Can you explain how?

I'm trying to adjust mine, I think the outer bolt (near the fender side) does the up and down, but want to be sure

When I installed them, they were pointing to the ground, now they are way too up; but once finished, I'm sure they will be great

I really like mine (got them on ebay) with HID they perform better than stock with HID, Of course a retro would be better, but they are good, for the price, etc

And I was afraid I wouldn't like the halos (ricer, etc) but they look great!

i believe the outer screw under the projector tilts it up and down, inner one left/right. as for the light output its better IMO over stock, nothing to brag about but noticeable. the halo rings really look good at nite when lit, you cant really see them in the day time tho, so there not as bright as say a bmw that can be seen in the day but there def bright enough at nite. as for wiring there is 2 ground and 2 power wires for each lamp,( 1 for the halo's and 1 for the LED's) I just spliced them into the park lamps, fairly easy.

Thumbs up

im getting ready to write up a sticky how to swap out the bulbs on the rings so the rings are alot brighter. as for the issue with getting them alligned right, it sucks but i spent an hour and a half and i cant remember which was which so i just twisted and turned untill it was dead center. i feel your pain but fyi a 6000k HID kit looks great on them, no hot spots. i just need to find out how eyelids look on them befor i go sticking them on mine.

they are a bit of a pain to adjust but they are sick lights, i just did the wire swap so now my halos and my fogs are on and its sweeet. but as orange blast asked the halos arent hard to wire you can wire them a few ways for when they turn on but its all in the insturctions just cut wires and solder or tape whatever your pref is.

I just bought those. The instructions are absolutly worthless. half english and half chinese. lol and nothing usefull. it says how to hook up the negitive wire, but nothing about the positive lol. Got them off ebay though. after a day the damn passenger side projector bulb went out.
