Default Modern Performance Halo's WITH HID lights (+pics)

I just installed HID kits on my modern performance halos. I used 8000k H1 bulbs they came in a box from "Extreme Lighting" . I went into a local auto store and was asking the guy about blue Sylvania ultras but he said he could hook my up with some HID's for $120 cash. Figured it was a decent price. Here they are installed....

Sorry, just not feeling it.

The two huge voids in the beam are killing me.

if you know where you got the kit from hit em up and buy the correct HID bulbs for the halos that will match your ballasts. That way if u ever decide to go back to stock like housings its just replacing the bulbs

you can actually see the voids because the car is so close to the garage but at distance the left light circles up and the right light circles up left. ill see about taking some better pics, its just been raining the last few nights.

i just love the deep blue color, much better then the dull yellow that came with the halos.

I don't have an answer for that. I am using 8000k H1 with new ballasts but thats about as technical as I get with lighting.

Hear are some forward facing ground shots. I cant get distance shots. All the streets have orange street lights around here, and it plays hell with the exposure on my small digital.

Ill try to find a school or someplace around here I can line up against a corner at distance thats also dark (people'll think im trying to break in probly)

they look nice and bright, but what happened to the cutoff in the last couple shots? I have the halos and wanted to put in hids, but the reason i bought the halo projectors is because they have the cutoff...lol, but ill still buy hids when i get my paycheck this next friday...i like how bright they are!!!

the cut off is really only visible on a wall 5-25 feet from a wall. The projectors lose there strength. look at the last pic , see how intense the light is 2 feet in front of the car , then it lessens.
The HIDs worsen this.

the headlights are great though.
