Default modern performance

ok so im a newbie to headlights. I just orderd nokya 7000k 100/120 Watts but on the bulb itself it says 12V65/55W does this meen they sent me the wrong bulb?

You should be happy you got 55/65W. The one you order would fry your electrical wiring and switch.

No they sent you the right thing probably. Typically the whole 100/120w thing on bulbs like those means its a marketing gimmick . They (bulb manufactures) usually advertise something along the lines of "H.I.D. performance 7000k. Performs like a 100/120 because of our uber "xenon" gas getting twice the performance from a standard bulb (55w/65w)...yadda yadda"

In any case, I would suggest using a upgraded harness if you plan on running aftermakret "color" bulbs or anything high wattage.

He doesn't know what he's talking about and is obviously clueless on how horrible and finicky the dodge Neon wiring and MFS is.

Search on "MFS" or "wiring" in strictly the problems forum and the lighting forum. You'll find plenty to read....

to put it in a nutshell, the stock wiring on this car can't provide safe lighting for anything that is cheap or over the stock ratings.
