Default McCulloch HID vs. Xtec HID

Hey guys,
Seems like you have a lot of knowledge on such products so I was wondering which set is better the McCulloch or the Xtec. I guess I mean like in terms of lasting longer, and better looking lights. Are certain kelvins of one comparable to the other? Also, does anyone have a pic of the McCulloch 10,000K's on an SRT?

Thanks for your help

Between the 2, I say there is no difference in quality. They both use generic bulbs.

as far as K, I'd recommend staying at or under 8000K.

misterjung.com has some pics on his site. I have his 7000k set as my heads and they give off a nice purple/blue hue..

Same thing, generic. Although the ignitor is not built into the ballast like some kits, so thats why there's an extra box.

Anyone have pics of an SRT with McCulloch 10000K's? Just curious as to what they would look like?

Thanks

Phillips Ultinon's own all of these brands and IMO they're the BEST on the market. These things are just CRAZY bright! I've pulled up next to BMW's and Saabs with factory HID's and mine just put them to shame. Plus they're all Phillips parts, wiring, ballasts, bulbs. I got a good deal on them too! They're supposed to be 700.00 for the kit and I got mine for 490, trust me, they're worth it and they look just badass. BTW Kunz hooked me up with the guy that gave me such a good deal on these. Thanks again Kunz!
Friends told me from a distance they got from a crazy HID blue to a purplish hue and said they're the craziest looking hid's they've seen, as in bling bling. lol Plus they just light up the road awesome. Basically you get what you pay for. Anyways that's my .02

Oh I do get flashed a bit. Twice total last night. I think I need to adjust the height on them a bit and put them more down to the ground. Either way I can care less, drove by so many cops and they don't even look twice, so they can't be that bright. I have looked at them from a ways away straight on and they're bright for sure, but not any more intense than any factory HID's I've seen. So I think it's just those picky old people that hate HID's that are flashing me. These look almost the same as all the factory HID's, only a little cooler and more of a sprectrum of light, I mean these things look crystal white, then crystal blue, then a purpisish hue to them, they just look bad ass. Plus they put out WAY more light on the road than those factory systems. As you guys can see, I'm way happy with these lights. Keep in mind I'm not being bias and I have seen the other HID systems mentioned here in person.

If I had to choose between my 7,000k misterjung kit for 380 or my 6000k phillips kit for 500. I'd choose the phillips 6000k ultinon kit every time. Its brighter than my 7000k kit but still has just enough color to it.

Default Xtec All the Way!

I have the Xtec 7000ks and they are Freakin Bright azz efff and look awesome. I got them from Kensai Lighting, a Japanese/North American Distributor. He compared the Phillips Ultinon and the Xtec HIDS for me and the Xtec were better IMO as for everyone else there
