Default Making my own black housing headlights

I like the DEPO black housing headlights but I wish the whole turn signal housing was silver.

I got my hands on an old set of headlights (thanks herby )

Its pretty simple...

I put the headlights in the oven one at a time for about 10 mins, checked on them then put them in for another 10 mins... then pulled them apart.

Here are a few pics... I'll post the rest later

Black housings = Eagle Eye = Aftermarket.

Again, the ONLY way the STOCK headlights can be opened is with CUTTING the housing. I don't know why people can't swallow that fact and put it to rest finally . There is no "mystery secret". No magic. No anything aside from cutting the housings. Valeo, the maker of the stock headlights have been doing this to alot of Daimler vehicles for years. Nothing new. The 2nd Gen Neon was no exception. Those are the facts, no "secret" anything . Heat will not open up the stockers. You'll damage the housing by warping it before its going to ever let go .

I opened the stock lights using a heat gun. Worked fine.
