Default Lookin for a wire...help

I'm installing some new guages. I want the lights in the new gauges to ONLY come on when my headlights are on. Any idea what wire (color, location) I can use to achieve this? Thanks

I wired them into the fuse box. I asked this question before and got an answer like, look at the back of your boost gauge. White wire + black wire -. I wired the gauges like this and it works great. Power wire (red) to the radio fuse. Bare wire under the fuse. Gauge lighting wire to the lo beam lights fuse # 16 or 18 fuse#, I can't remember off the top of my head. Then run the sensor wire to the sensor and then your grounds. That's probably the ghetto way to do it, but it works and without any help from anyone on here I would have never found a solution let alone the wires. I found this install from Superstreet magazines website. It's easy and it worked for me. I hope this helps. The cool thing about the lights on the low beam fuse is that when you turn your bright lights on the gauge lights go out, which makes it that much easier to see outside when you need your high beams at night. Less light in the interior. I hope this helps. Try it. If you don't like it take to a real electrician that installs lighting equipment in cars. If I knew which wires and where I would have done the other way, but I am glad I did it myself and saved the installation money. Chris
