Default A little help

Im sure if I searched long enough I could find my answer but I know that some of you have the info right off the top of your head so I figured I would just ask.

I am planning on ordering a set of HIDs for my stock headlights, probably from here--- https://www.ddmtuning.com/

I assume its 9007s that I need? Are they plug and play or do I need an adapter of some sort? I noticed that for $25 additional it says Hi/low beams, has anyone tried those?
I think I will get the 55 watt 5K.

Thanks in advance.

PM ND4SPD and order his kit. It comes with everything you need and a relay harness so they're installed safely.

5k its going to be almost the same thing....buy the 6k and you will get the "style" of the cars that came with HID's from the factory/OEM, I put 10k in almost all my cars and it looks badass

I second that you get with ND4SPD and get his kit. He's very well versed in our vehicles lighting system and has put together a kit that makes the install easy and he's relatively cheap for what you get.

As far as lighting colors, 5k will be the brighter of the selections that have been mentioned in this thread. For my taste, 10k is way too blue. I prefer a 6k bulb to get a hint of blue while still maintaining an overall white color.

I looked at his kit first because I like to support forum supporters, but the the DDM seems a little more attractive because of the use of Hi/lo and also the 55w instead of 35w.

The main reason Im switching isnt really for looks. I live in the middle of nowhere and do most of my driving at night when the deer are all over the road. I have them run out in front of me at least once a week, so I just need all the light I can get. I have the 6k on my Ram and agree that they look better, but the neon sits lower so I was thinking I would go a little brighter with the 5k hi/lo option.

I've had 55w HID kits and 35w HID kits....in stock housings (before my retrofit) and honestly....their isn't much of a difference at all between them. However....if they're in stock housings 55w will simply blind oncoming traffic and scatter more light all over creation.
