Default Lighting question HID vs. MP Driving lights

Hey guys, I'm not happy with the lighting provided by simply upgrading to silverstars. I often drive at night on unlit roads with deer around, so I could use all the extra light I can get.

I'm looking to spend somewhere around $300 on lighting. I've narrowed down my choices to either an Ebay HID kit (like Blinglights or the $140 kit mentioned in another thread) OR the Modern Performance Driving Lights kit.

Does anyone have an opinion or insight into this choice?

Thanks

ok, let me simplify the question to hopefully get a response... could someone with the MP driving lights comment on the light output? Do these driving lights project light farther out than regular low beam headlights?

I plan to get the fogs now, so I'm wondering if I should still get the ebay HID's...

thanks

I have a set of 4300k bi-xenon (hi/low beam) lights..and they're very effective.

I would highly recommend them, and they can be had for around 250 dollars.
You could also get a single beam kit for quite a bit cheaper.
good luck.

Look into Hella's line of products...I put two 500 series on my front end..I'm planning on two more when I can find a rally pod, or bar to attach them to. It's saved my ass form those four legged bastards a few times. 3000ft range, super bright even with 55w bulbs. I'm putting 100w's in eventually. But they make a bunch of different styles too.

Hella Lights for the MF win. I don't care who doesn't like it. And to the above poster, make your own brackets, just weld something up!

I have the MP PIAA driving lights and can tell you they are by far the best choice. They are brighter than my Silverstars even when the high beams are on.
