893's work great!!! i've been using them for the last 3 months i love them

Is it still the concensus that 893ST is the correct bulb for the fogs?

Yes, use a 893 for the fogs.

yeha after searching and serching for a long time i have come to think no one makes a diff coloered bulb in 899..... so i just bought the silver star 893..... does ne one know how long it will last... ne one been runnngin them for a long time guy at parts store said they may not last long since it is a diff bulb so how long have some of yall been runnign the 893 i wanna hear some replys

check ebay if you want the yellow ones. im running the luminics "jdm yellow" in my fogs for the past 2 months and they are holding up fine. i ran luminics bulbs in my civic before hand and was happy with them.

I just bought some cheapie front turn signal lights for now but they don't carry the part # that it calls for(3457all) all they had was XL-3057WK. I put them in and they work fine. what will happen if I leave them in, will they burn out quicker or will it screw something up.

I would imagine that they probably won't last as long. The LL stands for long life. As far as them skrewing something up I couldent say. As long as they are the same wattage you should be fine, but your best off using the recomended bulb size.

man i dont know why i didnt come to the forums to double check this info before going to autozone and asking for the foglight bulbs? they checked in their computer system and it said the part number for the silverstar foglight was 9145st and of coarse it didnt fit!

I'm on my third set of 893 fog lights. They last for 6 months and then boom...they're dead...
