Default LED gauge question

I have the green LED kit from byvamp on here and I'm not satified with how bright it is. My question is. I've seen on differnt sites where they have multiple LED lights in 1 194 bulb kinda like these listed below. I was wondering what the size of the hole was. They give a print of sizes on the site listed has anyone ever tried these type of lights?

i have the 5 led bulbs from them in my dash. very bright and pleased with. btw they are blue. can see my tach needle and all. didnt like the ones i had before. weren't bright enough and all. i do recommend these in the 5 bulb led. they have like a 220 degree viewing radius compared to 180 on others

yes vamps are like the first ones in the link I was looking at like the 3rd one down in that link. I lost my redline and I can hardly see my needles. Thanx for the input.

I did check out autolumination but I'm worried about size of the hole. The site listed gives mesurments of the bulb unlike autolumination. when you put the 5 led bulbs in was their enought room?

yes, there's enough room ... it's kinda tricky when you install them because they can't pop straight in - you have to put one of the side led's in first & then rotate the bulb to the the 4 of them in and then the whole bulb will pop in .... trust me they'll fit

if you buy them & have any problem installing them just shoot me a pm or hit me up on AIM and i can help you thru it ... it's easy enough

you could also try v-leds.com ... they make very good leds especially for gauge cluster applications...

I just got the kit from byvampdesign.com and im not happy with it either, too dim. Hey why is it that the redline is disappearing, even with a sufficiently bright kit like 04CUSTOMBLUE's
