Default LED Foglight Bulbs

Has anyone seen these:

http://frickinbrite.com/catalog/prod...roducts_id=197

I think these are pretty cool. I noticed it said for off road use, so I am wondering how bright these things really are. The only bad thing is that the light is only focused straight ahead. I think for it to work in a foglight, you would need to have it disperse like an actual Halogen Bulb, since it wouldn't reflect off the housing. I wasn't looking to buy a set, but it would be cool to see some pictures of how these look in real life.

If i get silverstars for my headlights, maybe ill pick these up for my fogs. They are cheaper then silverstars, and i know LEDS are bright as hell. They look pretty sweet.

I was going to ask the guy if he had any 899 bulbs. It looks like on EBay they have a 9006 and a H3 set available. They had an H1 and I was tempted just to pick them up and see how they looked in my wife's Beetle.

You really need to write the guy and ask him. Right now on EBay he has 9006 and H3 bulbs. We would ned need an 899 bulb. You could ask him if he has any 899 bulbs or something similar that would work. Either go to the website (vleds.com) or check out his ebay store (Velocity LED's).

since it says "for daytime running lights" in the picture, im guessing they're not very bright. probably just like an accent light.

Yeah, I saw that too. I was just interested to see how bright these would be. I wasn't planning on getting a set.
